Program Team

Program Associate(s)

  • Reports directly to the Program Director and assists the Program Team with front-of-house operations
  • Assists the Program Team in coordinating and providing logistical support for auditions, rehearsals, video shoots, press conferences any other events that involve KDC talent or special guests
  • Works with technical team on day of show to coordinate and take care of talent needs

Technical Team

Technical Associate(s)

  • Reports directly to the Technical Director and assists the Technical Team with back-of-house operations
  • Alongside the technical team, ensures the show stays on schedule per the call sheet
  • Works with Technical Director in regards to the technical/stage requirements for show, provide support as stage crew if needed.

Finance Team

Fundraising Manager

  • Oversees the planning, details, and strategic execution of fundraising events
  • Coordinates with Sponsorship and Marketing to insure integrated execution of fundraising initiatives
  • Seeks out and applies for grants and other income-generation opportunities for Kollaboration DC

Sponsorship Manager

  • Responsible for acting as the liaison in negotiations between corporations/ companies and Kollaboration DC
  • Manages sponsorship outreaches, follow-ups, and other duties pertaining to the procurement of sponsorships
  • Support and work closely with the Executive, Finance and Marketing Director to secure sponsorships and strategic partnerships with local businesses and corporations
  • Develop sponsorship packages for circulation to local and national businesses and potential corporate sponsors. Sponsorships include monetary donations, food donations, and publicity swaps
  • Maintain relations with current sponsors and create new relations with potential sponsor

Sales Manager

  • Responsible for coordinating ticket sales efforts of staff, talent, volunteers, and community partners
  • Act as point person between the Kollaboration DC staff and the venue’s box office
  • Develop internal programs to stimulate and encourage ticket sales
  • Identify innovative sales strategies and opportunities outside of the traditional channels

Marketing Team

Campus Relations Manager

  • Act as the main point-of-contact to student organization leaders across campuses
  • Connects with student organizations and manages relationships with organization leaders and develop creative ways to spread awareness about Kollaboration DC on campuses
  • Responsible for distribution of press and creative to campus organizations to promote Kollaboration DC events
  • Creates and coordinates a team of liaisons to promote Kollaboration DC on each target campus
  • Identify ticket sales opportunities and coordinates with organization leaders to execute

Community Relations Manager

  • Attends local community shows and events as a representative of Kollaboration DC
  • Contacts and maintains relations with Community Organizations around the DMV area
  • Responsible for distribution of press and creative to local community organizations to promote Kollaboration DC
  • Identifies synergistic opportunities with community groups and events to build awareness of Kollaboration DC and to sell tickets to the show


  • Responsible for updating the Kollaboration DC website, working closely with the Creative, Marketing and Sponsorship teams (Experience with/Willingness to learn WordPress required)
  • Works with Social Media Director, Graphic Design/Arts Directors and Marketing/Promotions/PR Director to develop and maintain the overall look of the Kollaboration DC website
  • Creates and distributes KDC e-newsletter to members of Kollaboration DC’s mailing list
